The past two years studying the IBDP at SJIIM have been truly enriching for me. The school has provided ample service and leadership opportunities for us to embody the Lasallian core values of faith, community and service that are so integral to us all, not merely as students, but valued members of a larger community. Surrounded by dedicated and supportive teachers, peers and friends, I have made so many unforgettable memories here, from publishing an international STEM magazine for my CAS project to releasing baby turtles back to the sea by the Cherating beach during Character Camp. I am very grateful for the scholarship granted by the school and the Tan Chin Tuan Foundation for giving me the opportunity to engage in a challenging yet rewarding academic programme, to venture beyond my comfort zone, and to meet lifelong friends.
