Since joining SJIIM in 2017, Sarah Cole has enjoyed being a member of the English Department and taking on a variety of pastoral roles in the school. She has worked as an Assistant IGCSE Coordinator, Head of Year, and has most recently been appointed the Head of Sixth Form. Originally from Seattle, Sarah has an honours degree in English Literature from the University of Washington. She is currently finishing her Master’s in Educational Leadership and Management from the University of Bath. Prior to joining SJIIM, Sarah worked in Miami, Florida and Cairo, Egypt. In every school she has worked in, she has brought her passion for developing student leadership capacity through positive self-talk, growth mindset, and service.
Outside of school, Sarah enjoys outdoor fitness and researching her next travel destination.
