Lei Voon (LV) is a Registered and Licensed Counsellor under the Malaysian Board of Counsellors or Lembaga Kaunselor Malaysia (LKM). She received training in clinical and educational settings. Since 2012, LV has been actively involved in the psychology & counselling profession. LV is an ongoing PhD candidate (Clinical Sciences—Psychotherapy) focusing on mental health research at the School of Medical Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) Health Campus. She holds a Master’s in Counselling from USM Penang and a BSocSc (Hons) Psychology from the National University of Malaysia (UKM) Bangi. She has also contributed through community services by engaging in voluntary activities such as public talks and the Talian Kasih COVID-19 Special Careline (2021).
LV always seeks to foster unconditional positive regard, empathy, and genuineness in the therapeutic relationships with her clients. She believes that every weakness is a potential strength. She enjoys Chinese calligraphy and mindfulness meditation during her leisure time
