Lisa was born in Scotland in the UK. She has lived in Malaysia for 5 years. She has a BA(Hons) in History and Graduate Teacher Training Certificate in Education. Lisa started out her teaching career 20 years ago and taught in Secondary Schools in the UK for 15 years until moving to KL. Lisa is in her 5th Year of teaching in Year 6. Her experience in Secondary Education has enabled her to have an excellent understanding of the high expectations from her students which is required in the transition from Elementary School into High School.
Lisa strives to ensure her students are challenged in all aspects of their learning and personal development to ensure they are fully prepared for the next journey of their school life. She has an amazing sense of humour and enthusiasm which enables her to engage with her students to make them feel safe and secure in their learning environment. Her love of teaching is infectious and this is evident in her classroom.
Her main interests are swimming and tries to keep fit by going to the gym regularly. She enjoys cooking and experimenting with new recipes.
