Karen is originally from Ireland. She gained an honours degree in Business Studies from the University of Limerick, Ireland and later obtained a PGCE and a Masters in Education. Her teaching career began in England but soon after she decided she wanted to teach overseas,and has now been teaching internationally for more than fourteen years. Karen has taught at all levels of the primary school, and has worked in middle and senior management positions in both lower and upper primary. She is particularly interested in the pastoral care of students and in helping students to realise that their actions can make a difference in our world.
