Jake was born in Adelaide, South Australia. Growing up in an Australian blessed household Jake experienced travel, private education and many opportunities to play sport as a child. Leaving school he worked in the mining industry in outback Australia for three years before starting his studies to become a teacher. He graduated from Tabor College with a Bachelor of Education. Since then he has been working in KS2 for 5 years.
Jake has a desire to bring the best out in his students, developing rich relationships that unlock the door for deeper learning. He values the importance of this age group and the difficulties children can have in this stage of their lives. Jake enjoys bringing laughter and energy into the classroom and facilitating meaningful learning experiences for his pupils.
Jake enjoys a variety of sports and grew up playing basketball and Australian Rules Football. Jake is an adventurous soul who likes to try and experience new things. Jake has two children and a lovely wife who have enjoyed settling into life here in Malaysia.
