Born and raised in Kelantan, Syu graduated from The National University of Malaysia with a Bachelor of Science. After graduating, she began her career as a Personal Assistant cum Secretary at the Highlands International Boarding School, Genting Highlands for about 4 years. She was then in the business line for another 2 years. Her passion for education then led her back to the international school scene in Malaysia with the Hibiscus International School as the Front Office cum Secretary prior to joining SJIIM. In her spare, she enjoys gardening especially planting roses.
