Gillian joined SJIIM with her 6 years old son, after 4 years of teaching Chemistry and Science at international schools in Brunei, and prior to that 8 years teaching at Shrewsbury International School, Bangkok. Gillian has an Honours degree in Chemistry from the University of Bristol, UK and a PGCE in Science with a specialism for Environmental Science; she is passionate about helping students make connections between what they learn in school and the real world.
Gillian has a deep love for South East Asia, so outside of school enjoys exploring the region with her son, as well as yoga, reading and hiking.
