Gavin started teaching in 1999 as an EFL teacher while at university. From there, he has since been teaching Physics and Science in the UK, Ghana, Spain and most recently Malaysia. The experiences he has had in such different contexts have given him a belief in the power of education as a force for good change in society. In addition to his PGCE he has a Master’s in Education, a Diploma in English Foreign Language teaching and is currently working on a second Honours Degree in Mathematics with Physics. He has been in Malaysia with his family since 2016 and likes swimming, running, watching football and cricket.
