Security against a new ‘invisible enemy’

Good news! To safeguard our community against the COVID 19 virus, SJIIM now has a new Mobotix Thermal Camera on site to aid with our temperature measurement efforts. The ultra-sensitive thermal camera will be positioned at our security station to screen all intended entries into the school so please don’t be alarmed if you find it staring at you 🙂 .

It has the following high tech features:

• High-end thermographic camera with accurate wide ranging temperature measuring abilities
• Dual sensor thermal and optical lens for detection and identification
• Multiple alert systems for temperature anomalies
• Automated screening function and reliable video analysis

With this additional new security feature in place, we are now making all the necessary preparations in line with the Ministry of Health and Education’s guidelines so that we will be ready to welcome our Lasallians back to school when the approval is given.
