Rosy has a BA (Hons) in Sociology and Anthropology with a specialist interest in post-conflict development, after working for an NGO in Kosovo. Following this, she received her PGCE Secondary Geography and has expertise in developing and leading character curriculums for secondary schools.
In order to ignite learning within the classroom, Rosy organises local and international field trips, giving students hands-on learning experiences that bring geographical concepts to life and is looking forward to the possibilities for students at SJIIS.
As Head of Humanities, Rosy aims to create an interdisciplinary curriculum that bridges the gap between subjects, encouraging students to see the interconnectedness of knowledge. She is passionate about fostering a supportive and inclusive environment where every student can thrive.
Outside of the classroom, Rosy enjoys running, yoga, reading, travelling, and writing about her adventures. Rosy is particularly excited about exploring the rich biodiversity offered in Malaysia, and she looks forward to integrating these experiences into her teaching.
