Andrew is from Canterbury in England and was awarded a Bachelor of Arts from the University of East Anglia. After this, he went backpacking around the world for a few years and taught in Hong Kong before returning to the UK to complete his PGCE (5-11) in Primary Education at Canterbury Christchurch University. Upon graduation, he taught in England for two years before heading out to Kazakhstan to teach at a British school there for 3 years. He then moved to Singapore where was teaching before hopping over the border to come to join the wonderful SJIIM community here. Andrew strongly believes in nurturing a fun, safe and creative learning environment in the classroom where children learn together and take pride in their own and others’ successes.
Andrew loves the challenge and adventure of living in a new country and is excited to explore all that Malaysia has to offer. Andrew loves to play football, tennis and squash to name a few and has already signed up for a few running races around Malaysia.
