Andy is from Lincoln in England where he earned a BA Hons degree in Primary Education from Bishop Grosseteste University. He arrives in Malaysia having taught at international schools in Australia, Italy and most recently Tunisia, where he has been teaching for the last 6 years. Andy has worked in all year groups across KS2 and has worked in middle and senior management positions including Assistant Headteacher during his time in Tunisia. He enjoys making learning fun and engaging through practical activities and extra curricular activities.
Andy is a huge fan of sports and regularly plays golf and tennis. He competed in tennis tournaments around the world as a young adult before earning coaching badges through the LTA. His inspiration for getting into teaching came from working as a tennis coach for Tennis Australia and Tennis World whilst living in Melbourne. During his time there, he helped establish Cardio Tennis within the country and also gained employment as a coach at a prestigious grammar school.
Andy enjoys working with children of all ages to help them achieve their goals and develop their skills. He is keen to help every child in his class and create a love of learning that will last a lifetime.
