Hui Ying who is a native speaker in Mandarin as well as Cantonese, was born and raised in Malaysia and is originally from Kuala Lumpur. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Chinese Literature from University Fu Jie Taipei, Taiwan. She has been teaching Chinese language for 15 years in international and private schools as well as Chinese independent high schools. She has taught IGCSE Chinese as a First Language, MFL and also leading the Primary Mandarin team for 2 years in her prior school. As a mother of two young children, she understands children and enjoys working with them. Other than teaching, she enjoys telling stories to young children. Hui Ying likes swimming, reading, travelling and Tai Ji during her spare time. She has great enthusiasm for learning new languages and Chinese culture and would like to take it as a lifelong career.
