Originally from Northern Ireland in the UK and having studied at Durham University for his BSc Hons in Environmental Management and PGCE in Secondary Geography, Mr Philip Weatherup has been teaching since 1999 in the North East of England and since 2018 in Malaysia. With his knowledge, experience and passion for teaching all humanities subjects, specialising in Geography and Religious Education, Mr Weatherup has a great appreciation for the importance of the roles everyone plays as global citizens as well as the uniqueness of culture and the strength that it brings to individuals. A cultural identity and global awareness are key for everyone and he always ensures that each child is given every opportunity to be successful in their studies.
