Carroll has taught English at several international schools in Malaysia, where he has lived with his family for 16 years. He received his B.A in Communications and Theatre and Masters in Humanities from University of Colorado, USA, and subsequently a Post Graduate Diploma in Teaching. He has experience teaching secondary students in the British curriculum at Cempaka and HELP International Schools. Carroll believes in treating each student individually, helping them find their voice and trust in their own ideas. He is passionate about helping students find their confidence and language mastery. In addition to academics, Carroll has coached cross-country, basketball and Ultimate Frisbee. In his free time, he enjoys reading, photography, yoga and running.
